It's true that famous scientists like Newton and Einstein had their own unique inspirations for pursuing science and engineering.

However, for many of us, the guidance of a supportive teacher or a knowledgeable friend ignited our interest in these fields. We had the potential all along, but we needed someone to believe in us and give us a chance to explore.
At Bright & Smart, we aim to provide children with a fun and engaging way to learn basic engineering skills while also fostering their cognitive development. Our goal is to help unlock their natural abilities and passions.
We strongly believe that the opportunities we offer our children during their formative years will greatly impact their future decisions and potential.
Our main objective is to cultivate essential social skills, such as making logical decisions and developing discipline, within a thrilling environment where youngsters collaborate with other children of their age to build and program robots. This process helps children understand that computers are tools with a much promising future beyond communication and entertainment. They also learn that robots are not always in the form of human-like metallic figures but present in several aspects of our daily lives.
According to Piaget's Stage Theory of Cognitive Development, children between the ages of 7 to 11 begin to think abstractly and create logical structures that explain their physical experiences. We believe this is the perfect time to plant a seed that will grow and flourish by the time children reach high school.
If we compare the number of engineering-based enrichment activities available for children in lower and middle school to the number of extra-curricular activities offered in sports, music, theater, ecology, dance, and other subjects, we will find a significant difference. It may come as a surprise to know that the United States, being on top of the industrial world, hires many engineers from overseas to compensate for the lack of engineering graduates from colleges and universities in the country.
