By incorporating hands-on activities into our children's curriculum, it will help them to improve skills like:

Our favorite week of the year is here, Engineers Week! This week is important because it:
-Raises public awareness about the contributions of engineers
-Spotlights the importance of STEM principles in everyday curriculum
-Gets our learners excited about engineering
Math and science are the major skills needed to be an effective engineer, but ingenuity and creativity are just as important.
Research, design, development, and testing of machines. I.e, roller coasters, robots, and engines.
Designs roads, tunnels, bridges, and railroads. They understand strength and stability and what forces are at stake when designing these structures.
Electrical engineering deals with the study and application of electricity and electronics. They can be involved in wireless communication, electronic power, control, instrumental and signal processing. They work on things like circuit boards, solar panels, and sensors.
Explaining what these types of engineers do and showing young learners the videos can be helpful, but to reinforce how important engineering is, here are some activities you can do at home or in the classroom!
