Our goal at Bright & Smart is to teach kids basic Engineering and Computer Programming Skills and facilitate the development of 21st Century Learning Skills, such as; Information & Media Literacy, Critical Thinking & Problem Solving, and Interpersonal & Collaborative Skills.
A week packed with knowledge, fun, and entertainment, specially designed for girls and boys, 5 to 12 years old.

Camp Details
Weekly sessions at our STEM Center:
Full-Day 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Half-Day 9:00 am to 1:00 pm or 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Early drop-off starts at 8:00 am
Late pick-up ends at 5:00 pm

Your child will:
-
Participate in a split-day camp with other children in his/her own age group (5-8 or 9-12), doing coding activities in the morning and robotics/engineering challenges in the afternoon.
-
Enjoy, every day, 6 hours of personalized project-based instruction plus 2 hours of open-ended projects and socializing time.
-
Learn to design, create, and program (code) their own interactive stories, games, and animations.
-
Learn to build and program robots using a special platform (5-8), an edition of Lego bricks (9-12), and/or open-source microcontrollers and/or drones (9-12), using a curriculum developed especially for them.

Work with small groups with at least one adult instructor for every 6 children.

Be presented each day with new and exciting ENGINEERING challenges.

Perform a demonstration during our "Friday STEM Family Time" to showcase their newly earned skills and accomplishments.

Bright Team Designers:
Innovative Discoveries
So, you can get a running start.
Is your child creative, curious, and keen? Then this will be an exciting camp for them! Campers work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment by building and designing their innovative creations using Legos.

Campers will make discoveries according to age, make friends who share their passion, and create robots from day one through this program.
Working in teams of two, participants incorporate science concepts to solve daily engaging challenges and learn to pay attention to detail, listen, estimate, think critically, be patient, learn from failure, and collaborate by designing, creating, building, and programming robots.

Engineering Unplugged
Like making? designing? creating? This is for you!
Does your child like to explore, build and take apart gadgets? Campers will learn about different engineering fields in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and be encouraged to use the Thinking Design Process to construct and program their unique machines. They will think outside the box to customize and code their masterpieces!
Through this program, campers will explore STEM topics according to their age, make friends who share their passion, and create gadgets from day one.
Working in teams of two, participants incorporate science and engineering concepts to solve daily engaging engineering challenges and learn to pay attention to detail, listen, estimate, think critically, be patient, learn from failure, and collaborate by designing, creating, building, and programming unique gadgets.

Technology & Me:
Robo-Techno Madness
We want to give your child the skills and the confidence to follow their dreams. No matter what they want to be when they grow up.
Empower your youngsters to become the best and brightest in their field!
Our Robo-Techno Madness Camp is focused on getting young learners more interested in becoming creators and innovators. Through a fun and exciting curriculum, campers will work in a team-oriented atmosphere, where they are challenged with different tasks each day.
Along with teaching your child the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and leadership, your little one will build and program robots and participate in other STEM challenges. By the end of this camp, your child will learn basic coding principles and be a role model for other young kids they meet.
We hope that by the end of this camp, your child will become more tech-savvy and a role model for other young kids they meet.

Campers will put together a drone, learn the physics behind them and apply their coding abilities to fly them through exciting obstacle courses.
