Happy National Pay-Doh Day! - September 16

Our Posterity = Our Children

Enhancing our children's S.T.E.A.M education is imperative to their success and will help them become innovators of the future.

S.T.E.A.M stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.

By incorporating hands-on activities into our children's curriculum, it will help them to improve skills like:

Creativity

Critical Thinking

Independent Thinking

Brainstorming

Problem-solving

Teamwork

Did you know that Play-Doh was originally invented to clean the wallpaper in your house?

The putty was invented to clean the coal residue off the walls! As people started switching from coal-based heating to natural gas, the putty was no longer needed.

The sister-in-law of one of the inventors showed him how the product could be repurposed. She brought him into her classroom and showed him the designs her students had made using the non-toxic putty. If it wasn't for her, we may never have known the fun, imaginative designs we could create using Play-Doh!
